"Love2Sing classes are a highlight of my week… no matter how tired I am after a busy day at work, I always feel invigorated after a singing session.”
Here’s what members of Love2sing have to say about the group they belong to…

"I joined Love2sing because, whilst not a good singer and unable to read music properly, I 'love2sing' and was looking for the opportunity to sing with a group of friendly people and at the same time learn a little about music theory. I attend the Wednesday evening class at Hanwell Community Centre.
It's fun, easy going (very non judgemental), Elizabeth is very encouraging and professional and provides a varied selection of songs. My impression is that everyone tries to sing as well as they can and that is all that is asked. As well as learning a little music theory and how to warm up, I am beginning to feel more confident about singing in a group. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who enjoys singing but is a bit nervous about 'not being good enough'." |
"I joined love2sing because a friend of mine attended, I have been living in France for a while and am just getting back into the social thing back here, I have found love2sing very inspiring, I come on a Wednesday afternoon to Hanwell and am so enjoying it, Elizabeth is a very good teacher and makes it fun for all of us. Thank you Elizabeth."
"I've joined the Love2sing Wednesday afternoon class at the William Hobbayne Centre in Hanwell. Elizabeth's advertisement on the Ealing Today website has lived up to its promises. With no previous experience, other than singing in a school choir many moons ago, I am enjoying the experience -- the teaching, the songs, the company and the fun. The class is uplifting. I expect to sign up for another term. " |
"I joined love2sing after a Google search for a local singing group. I attend Wed 7-9pm. I'd be far too self-conscious to sing on my own (& private lessons are very expensive) & love the opportunity to sing with other people who want to sing. I'm not confident about my voice at all but feel that these classes have helped me to focus more on what my voice is doing.
The online resources are great for practice!
The best thing about love2sing is Elizabeth's teaching style: encouraging & fun, great facial expressions; I mean this in a positive way when I say she is a female Gareth Malone! " |

“I joined in January - the first new term of 2011. I attend the Wednesday evening
class at Hanwell Community centre. The classes are informal, but Elizabeth still
gives you warm ups and tips to improve your voice. Also it's fun!

“I joined as I did not want to be in a choir and also I cannot read music and I believe my voice is rough. I love to belt out a number - my family do not appear to enjoy this!I attend the evening class. It is hard work - but satisfying to actually sing along with the right words and at the right time! I am dyslexic - I think this class helps with my concentration levels. I still cannot clap in time but it is improving.”

"I have always enjoyed singing and find it very uplifting. I needed help to strengthen my voice and give me more confidence as I wanted to audition for a singing group so I joined the Wednesday afternoon group in Hanwell.
Elizabeth is an amazing teacher. She is very well organised and patient with everyone. She has a fun approach but with a strong direction and she really inspires the whole class."

“I love singing in the car etc but wanted to find out if I could sing in tune and also learn a bit about harmony and music generally. I attend the Wednesday evening class in Hanwell. Love2sing is interesting, challenging, inspiring and FUN!
